Robbie Harvey & Mark Nightingale Quintet at Ronnie Scotts Late Show

I'm very excited to be playing two nights at Ronnie Scotts Jazz club with the great Mark Nightingale.  We will be playing the Late Show on wednesday 23rd and thursday 24th of November starting at 11pm.  We also have a great swinging rhythm section with Leon Greening on Piano, Adam King on Bass and Steve Brown on Drums. Really looking forward to these gigs and hope to see you there!

Robbie Harvey Quintet at Ronnie Scotts

On March 31st I will be performing with my Quintet at Ronnie Scotts Club.  We will be playing the Late Set from 11pm onwards.  The band features some of greatest and most swingin' players around with Steve Brown on drums, Adam King on bass, Leon Greening on piano and Alex Garnett on tenor.  This gig will lead up to the recording of my debut album featuring this line up.  The album will hopefully be available later in the year and is being made possible with help from Michael Rath Trombones.  Hope to see you on 31st March and look out for the album later in the year.

International Trombone Festival 2009 Aarhus, Denmark.

Just arrived back in London from the ITF.  Had a great time over in Denmark the last few days.  It was great to hear all the amazing players who were there from all over the world, its always really inspiring.  Met some really nice people and it was great to get the chance to play during the festival alongside some of them.  I was also the winner in the JJ Johnson competition and got to take part in a concert on the Friday evening as a winner of the Kai Winding competition.  Didn't even have any problems with Ryanair so it was all a success!  I have added some photo's from the festival.  You can check them out by clicking on the gallery page above.
